Kansas Comic Con 2025 Day One

Kansas Comic Con 2025 Day One

Today was the first day of the newest comicon in Kansas, the Kansas Comic Con. I had been looking forward to this con for awhile. Since Smallville Con decided to pull the plug, South Central Kansas has needed a good con. Now that's not to say anything bad about the ICT Comicon, it's a good comicon, but it's smaller and more regional than this. This one has star power.

Twenty guests (there were more but some had to bow out to other commitments. Only four comic book creators, which was a bit of a disappointment. Hopefully they will be able to attract some others for future editions.

The vendors room had plenty of vendors, mostly skewing to Manga fans. Hopefully they will be able to get some local comic book shops to plunk down some money for tables next time. Come on, Prairie Dog, I know Planet Comicon is next week, but the least you could do is set up for a con IN YOUR HOMETOWN. Or any other local comic book vendors, Hero Haven , is Agents of Comics still around? I'm throwing down the gauntlet here, show up for 2025!

Anyway, day one was fun! Head on over to my Instagram feed to see pictures from the day.
